About 50 articles and analyses concerning preservation and conservation of monuments published in the specialist literature and papers printed in the materials of conservation conferences in Poland and abroad.
The most relevant publication is the monograph "Development of the monument concept and conservation doctrine in Poland in the XX century" (Lublin 2000).
PROFESSIONAL WORK
- 1982-1984; employed in the State Enterprises of Monument Conservation as an engineer organizing and supervising the conservation procedures
- 1984-1987 employed in the Centre of Monument Documentation; preparing inventory and documentation of historical buildings
- 1984- employed at the Technical University of Lublin as a scientific-research worker
- 1993- work for the Agency "Wasz Film"; designing the didactic films on heritage preservation
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
- active participation in the activities of the Polish National Committee of ICOMOS and the Standing Conference of Towns of Central-Eastern Europe; the co-organizer of several conferences, the delegate for the XI, XII, XIII General Assembly of ICOMOS
- the organizer of a new specialty "Preservation of Architectural Monuments" at the Technical University of Lublin
- the expert of PHARE during the conservation programme for the Russian Federation
- the lecturer at the international conservation courses "Preservation of Monuments" organized by the Polish Committee of UNESCO
- the author of educational programmes produced by TV, National Conservation Services, the Centre for Preservation of Historical Landscape, the Ministry of Construction
- the author of dozens of articles popularizing the preservation of heritage; including two editions of ICCROM competitions - Media Save Art(2nd and 3rd).
