We have the pleasure to inform you that the Proceedings of the International APPEAR Symposium "Urban Pasts and Urban Futures : Bringing Urban Archaeology to Life" that took place at the Committee of the Regions, in Brussels, on October 4 and 5, are now available here as well as on the website of the APPEAR project (See 'Conference')

The Proceedings, in a PDF format to make the printing easier, are presented in two parts that can be downloaded separately:

- The first part, is a global document with an introductory note, a synthesis of the different sessions, the abstracts of all the presentations and the list of participants; - Proceedings in English
- The second part (or the appendixes), include the complete texts of the presentations in the original language (English, French and Spanish).

We would greatly appreciate receiving your comments and suggestions in relation with the APPEAR method and the practical guide presently being finalized.
